this was a good question. im a parent. my last son just moved out about 6 months ago. i miss my kids, especially when your last one moves out.
i talk to them at least once a week, but i usually do the calling.
it kinda makes me sad

I've been gone for 20 years and never go a week without talking to my family at least once a week, sometimes more. They all live out of state.

I am 33 and left home at 16. If i don't talk to my mother everyother day she gets pissy and thinkI am ignoring her (because she calls daily). I only talk to Dad once every other week or so. They are still together, but he hates the phone as much as I do.

Well my dad is the only parent I have living,but I speak to him on the phone about 2-3 times a week,just a short conversation to see what's going on!And I try to go see him every Sunday if not every other,we go for a few drinks,some food,and just chit chat!!

When I was in college I called my dad every other night to see how he was doing since my mom had just passed away and I wanted to make sure he was OK. Then he passed on, and I can't talk to either of them anymore. If I could though, it would be about twice a week now.

It varies really, about once or twice a week but I sometimes talk to my mam on msn as well so get all the news from back home.

1-2 times a week. I see them on holidays and most three day weekends. I am 19 year old college soph. I enjoy visits with mom and dad

I left home 14 years ago but I talk to my parents almost every day. I don't know what I'd do without them.
You don't know how much time you have left on this earth and I'm not taking any chances...I want my parents to know how much I love and appreciate them.
