How do I revive my faith in human kind?

When I learn more about the world I learn that there are more evil, cold hearted people than I previously thought....

Or is it because I live in Florida?

no it is not just Florida. This happens everywere. I feel the same way you do. However, I live my life as an honest person because I believe that in the end, I will be rewarded for my niceness.

Don't give up faith because too many people do the same. If you can only get one person to be a better person, you have made the world one person better.

Have you listened to the lyrics of the Garth Brooks song "The Change" ? Did you hear about the 10 year child who died in a school bus accident and his family donated his organs so that their child would give life to someone else? Did you read about the people who donated blood so complete strangers can have necessary surguries?Did you hear about the volunteers who participate in walk-a-thons, do door to door canvasing etc. to raise money for charities.Did you hear of the Big Brother and Big Sister org. who match children with an adult mentor?Did you hear about Meals-on-wheels in which volunteers bring meals and a bit of conversation to shut-ins? Did you hear about the the families that donate money to Christmas funds so children ( from lower incomes )can experience the joy of Christmas morning? Did you hear about the outpouring of kindness and generosity when my daughter had her house fire? Well these are just some of the countless people who are everyday heroes who realize that we all have a responsibility for the quality of life for others..We cannot help everyone but we can make a difference We can make that differance one person at a time.. When we share love it grows!
