when i was a child i had a big fear of going up into the attic and down into the cellar late at night because the cellar was damp and creepy with the furnace and the fruit cellar while the attic was dark even with the single light, and the rooms up there were not in the best of conditions. come to think about it now that im an adult im still a bit scared to go in the attic. also my sister and one cousin would tease me that jason or freddy or chucky was down in the basement. we would watch horror films and then i had to watch something light or id get nightmares.

I was always afraid of the Boogeyman!! I had to look under my bed, in the closet and I needed a nightlight!

Murderers, rapists, bad guys. There were alot of scary things going on when I was a kid and I always heard the most terrible stories. Not so much ghosts or goblins. REAL bad guys.

The boogeyman. I always pictured him to look like Hamburglar from McDonald's...that guy freaked me out!

A robber hiding under my bed. For nights I would hope that he wouldnt stab me through the mattress...at that point I hadn't even seen that movie where that is what happens to Kevin Bacon. Man, I was a crazy kid.

A housefire, and some bogeyman under my bed who was going to slash my ankles if I had to get up for the bathroom. (I watched murder mysteries before bed.)
