hi darl day 11 is the one, you are the only person i have heard that has said that, day 11 to 15 but your egg is getting ready on that day and it takes a couple of days for the sperm to reach the egg, so keep with the day 11 as that's how we all got preg, if you have a period you are ovulating so your all good there, when you think of how hard it is to actually fall pregnant 5 months is nothing so dint worry and keep trying, laying on the back does not do a thing,my gyno laughed at me when i told him i was doing that, so do your day 11-15 and it will happen, SO DONT STRESS MY LOVE YOU ARE OVULATING, all the best

The average healthy couple has an 80% chance of conceiving in a year. This breaks down to only 30% chance in a given month if you try around the time of ovulation (and 3% the rest of the month).

For best chances, 1 to 2 weeks after your period starts, try every other day.

I'm delighted for you that you're so eager, and I was the same way. It took us 4 months for my first and 5 months for my second. Just try to be patient, it does take a little time. You have several months to go before you need to worry at all about your fertility.

I know how you feel, me and my husband have been trying for a few months now with no luck. You can't always go by what a calender says you have to go by what your body does. I just recently realized this month that i am ovulating 3 days after my period, when i put it in a ovulation calender it says i should ovulate 13 days after. We had sex everyday during that time, and so i will see next month if i am pregnant!
Try having sex everyday after your period till the start of your next or if that is to much go every other day or every 3 days because sperm will stay alive in you for a few days. If that doesn't help then go to your doctor. but put down the tests and relax and have fun it will happen!
Good luck!

It's too early to worry. They say normally it takes 6 mo. to 1 year for healthy couple to get pregnant. If your ovulation test was positive, then there is probably nothing wrong with you. Keep trying. If after a year or regular trying nothing happens, not only you but you boyfriend also should get checked for fertility problems.

When you get a pos. on an ovulation test it means your LH is high and you will most likely ovulate in the next 24-48 hours but it doesn't guarantee that an egg will actually be released. However, this is rare and if your cycles are regular--like you say yours are--then you are almost definantly ovulating. You should try charting your BBT just for the peace of mind of knowing you are ovulating--www.fertilityfriend.com

If you are using fertility tests and ovulation monitors... and they give you a positive reading.. then yse you are ovulating... some women take a while to get pregnant.. dont stress.. its not good for the process...

as soon as you quit worrying and stressing... it will happen... some just take longer than others...

Sometimes it takes longer for the 1st baby too...it took a year for my 1st... 3 months with my 2nd... and my 3rd was a surprise.. I was on the pill....

my brother and his wife were trying for 3 years before they had their first child it might not happen for a while things like the pill can take time to wear off it might be nothing but they found that the more they worried the harder things were between them relax and enjoy the practise you never know what might happen
