A soldier that I met at an amusement Park when I was 13. I got away from my parents so they could sit awhile. He talked to me over by the train and asked me if I would ride with him. We got in and sat in the backseat, and after awhile he started teaching me how to kiss so gently and sweetly. He kissed me for the whole train ride, maybe2, I don't remember. I was dreamy-high. I remember laying across my parent's bed the next day remembering how that felt all day long. I was over the moon about boys and it started with that sweet, lonely soldier that was so polite and sweet. Maybe he was thinking of a girl he used to love, but he did get my address and come to see me when he was on leave. My dad ran him off and I hid. I don't know why that young soldier wanted to teach an awkward 13 year old how to just kiss so sweetly and gently. I forgot that until now. Thank you for the memory.
