if you ever find Pandora's Box, do you think it's already EMPTY?

as the Myth says that hope remained in the box
but if i ever found it
i think i will find it empty
not because hope is gone from the world
but i guess life doesnt work that way
we dont need hope in a box to keep hanging to stuff
it is just how we grew up and things we had taught
us that hope exists
for me actually
if i found a box and knew its Panadora's box
i wouldnt open it
maybe its the fear from the unknown
see what had happened when Panadora opened it
and what happened to the world
according to what the myth says
i wouldnt be wanting to bring same stuff like this
to that world we r living in
actually it doesnt need any more problems

Well, some of you may say this is a myth. Pandora's box was a box filled with the world's evil (i.e. Jealousy, Distreess, etc.) So, I don't think that you could actually see those things. Pandora, (yes that lady the box was named after) already opened the box and released the world's evil. Everything but Hope. Anyways, I don't think it would be possible, but that would be my opinion. A better question would be, "Has anyone ever found Pandora's box?"

Yes!!!!! Pandora's box was full of snakes once the lid was taken off the snakes slithered their way into places unknown to even us! I don't think anything is or will ever be "back"inside, the point of the box was to keep the snakes confined Honey once the lid came off it was over how you gonna catch snakes? & I guarantee ya the last place to look for anything is in that box, ita like a convict who escaped jail would the officers check his cell for him? Heckie Naw thats the very place he's breaking out from.....................Look around suga, the violence, the ways of the world Hon' Pandora's box is Empty & there's no way to get those snakes back in & that lid on.........Hope is within us, keeping faith inour word, our intergrity, not being consumed by worldly ways...Those who believe it is a myth thats their logic but if you read the scripture you'll understand more. Pandora's Box isn't empty - though sometimes, because of the events going on around the world, I think differently.
The box posses's only one human trait inside it, as legend says, and that is Hope.
We human's are an unique species. We have mastered language and with it all the fine arts. We have gain mastery over the environment - evident by our industrialization and our architecture. And yet, we are capable of the most horrific events through out time. We blatently slaughter our own species as well as other species. We take more than we need, and yet the Divine Light granted us consciousness and made us it's most favored child.
If I found Pandora's Box, never would I open, always would I hide it. For to open it, and let loose Hope - then we humans would be a sorry race after all. Whatever plans the Divine has for us would be lost and all the greatness that we have the potential to act upon would be diminished by our darkness.

If I ever had the fortune of finding Pandora's box I would not open it. The only thing that remains inside is hope. If I opened the box then hope would be lost. I wouldn't want to live in a world where there was no hope. What would our world be like if there was no hope to get us through our misfortunes?

well the story of pandora is a greek myth, so because prometheus gave mankind fire he and the humans were to be punished so Zeus sent a girl (pandora) to earth with two things the bow filled with basicly all the bad things, and curiosity. so one day pandora got so curious she opened the box and let out all the bad things inside but she closed it right before hope escaped. so if u found it you shouldnt open it cause hope might just escape. (no it probably isnt empty)

Pandora's box is a myth.....is from Greek mythology. It doesn't exist, but the story says that when it was opened it released all the evil into the world, but with all the evil it also gave out hope . So its kinda like this corny story of how there is always hope.

in the myth of of Pandora there was one "evil" left in the jar (in the myth it was a jar becase there where no boxes in that era) hope now many people take this differently some think its so that no matter what we will always have something to look forward too while others think it was to fool man into believing that he had potential for a future
