If the fact that Sanjia (hope I spelled it right) is still in the running proves that the voters are directly affecting the outcome.

I don't think it is a scam at all, if it was only the judges' favourites would go through, and they aren't usually the public's favorites.

If anyone thinks this show is a scam then they should not watch it, there are those who actually enjoy the show, so its ok not to like something but to wish it off the air and name calling is not fair play.

I'd rather watch youths get a chance at becomming something through talent than watch all the crime and depression on the shows they have these days, they really suck always about murder CSI, always about abuse, hate and law practices. Really what are we learning from CSI, they teach us how to become better criminals etc. I hate those shows so I don't watch them. Peace

Honestly, I don't think so. I think that all 3 of the judges pick who they think should be the next American Idol.

I really dont think they apply the votes to whom gets tossed off....they find out the who the media is promoting and use that as thier system...out 35 million votes...we never have that many people vote for the president...peoples priority....

Hopefully everyone will keep picking Sanjaya and that show will go off the air or at least get 3 new judges

No...for the simple reason, two of the show's producers keep on saying Sanjaya will not win. How do they know that? They're going to keep him from winning!!
