My parents always had to be different (and save a few bucks), so they got me the Odyssey 2 instead of the Atari. It was called KC Munchkin on that. In the arcades, I didn't like Pac-Man much -- I was more into spaceship and tank games, such as Time Pilot. That is a lost era -- arcades really aren't what they were. They're for babies, now.

Yes, I was little but I remember that my uncle that was a teenager at the time had an Atari. he would let me play Pac Man. I thought that was the coolest thing

Oh my yes. I played PAC man at the game arcade for many, many hours. Did you know, there is a Classic PAC man game now available that runs on the current Windows platforms? I have seen stats that the Baby-Boomers are purchasing the game at record numbers. Who knew....

Oh yes, 20+ years ago. Couldn't wait to get home from school. Space invaders was also a favorite. My brother n law has my old atari, we found it while cleaning out an old building on the farm.

I do! My mom won us an Atari for Christmas in 1981, so everyone wanted to come to our house to play it.

Yup, Pac Man wasn't round...just round-ish. And the music sucked.

Yes, my kids had it and I constantly played it while they were in school...they bought me a rendition of pac-man that I still play on my tv set.
