Don't be silly. South Korea didn't do this.
No, they should not be expected to compensate anybody.
The South Korean government has offered condolences.
I imagine they do care, if only because they are afraid some idiot will blame them for Cho Seung Hui's birth!

Bad press is bad press but the Govt of South Korea has no legal obligation here. But good PR would be to help the families. And yes I think they do care.

I don't think it has a thing to do with South Korea. Does America pay for all of our crazies? I heard this guy and his family have llived over here for a long time and I also heard that he was from South Korea. Who knows.

No, South Korea will not compensate the families and I doubt they care. Why are all these people trying to compare this random act of violence to a "war zone" and the death over there. This is so annoying.

Why should they care? The South Korean Government didn't commit any murders, an individual did that, regardless of his nationality.

Why? They didn't go around shooting anyone. One person is not the reflection of a whole society nor do I believe they should be held responsible.
