ok before i was pregnant i had my period for 5 to 6 days and know i bleed for 1 sometimes 2 days i am 14 weeks 4 days and i am happy but the doctor gave me an ultrasound week 11 and said the baby is fine i will go in next week but i am bleeding know has anybody had this bleeding in pregnancy and for how long thank you

I started bleeding bright red blood at 15 weeks, went to the ER (hysterical, because I thought I was losing my baby).
They did an ultrasound .. baby was perfect!
I was bleeding because I had a "low lying placenta". They said it will NOT affect the baby whatsoever. They said 96% of women who have a low lying placenta in early pregnancy will clear it self up and they will deliver the baby full term and vaginally. (your placenta moves up as your tummy expands and your uterus grows). Worse case scenerio (in that 4 %) is that you will have to have a c-section .... but you will still have a perfectly healthy baby :)
Went back in for my 18 week ultrasound and my placenta was perfect! up at the top where it needs to be!
No more spotting ... nothing!
I am now 28 weeks pregnant with a very healthy baby boy!

You had an u/s done 3 weeks ago, anything could have happened between then and now. Call your doctor just to make sure that everything is ok.

I bled and it ended up I had placenta previa. You should always call your OB when you bleed ASAP as it could indiciate a problem. However many women experience bleeding while pregnant and everyhting turns out fine.

Go to the doctor ANYTIME there is bleeding! Trust me Ive been throught the same thing.

I had a friend that bled for 6 months. Just make sure your doctor knows.

You need to go to the doctor again, you could be miscarrying.
