I think you answered your own question. A slave is not glamorous enough for a movie about war.

Achilles liked many girls, and like people of his era, he was a Prince with many concubines, even if one was just his wife. Furthermore, he was a very passionate person, living the moment as many say. Did you know that he also had a boy with another princess while he was hiding himself from Oddyseus and Menelaus before the War started? Of that he fell in love with the Amazon queen as he slaughtered her in the Troyan fields?

The story of the War of Troy was much bigger than just the Illiad. In a sense, those books only touch a couple of weeks in a conflict that lasted 10 years, and the Greeks wrote lenghty volumes much like we write about WWII. Unfortunately, only a couple of fragments and books remain from that literature. The only lenghty book we have of the war is the Illiad, but entire volumes exist which make reference to other great epics we have lost. From those fragments of epics, a much bigger picture of the War can be achieved. Of course, Hollywood NEVER tries to be accurate, prefering to make stories "simple" and treating people like fools. It is easier to mention just one love interest for "good guy" Achilles, who gets symphaty from the public, instead of encouraging the notion of Achilles the mass murderer, who kills the real good guy of the Illiad, Hector.

Polixena was a daughter of King Priam of Troy. Achilles, despite liking Briseis, saw her just as a slave. But Polixena was princess of a noble dynasty, and beatiful too. As many of the myths, she acts as the tool of fate to make Achilles meet his end as it was foretold. He does not fall for Polixena just because of her looks and background, he falls beacuse many Gods have decided to kill Achilles and use her as a pawn. Achilles falls in love with Polixena so deseperately, he was ready to even give up the Greek cause if she was delivered to her. The troyans set up a trap for Achilles, promising to deliver her, and that ambush Achilles gets killed. The Oracle thus is proven true, as the mightiest warrior since Heracles falls in Troy as foretold despite the fact he was very unlikely to get killed in the battlefield.

If you phrased your question using proper English instead of your own gibberish, maybe someone on this site could answer you intelligently. As it is, plowing through your incredibly poor writing makes one give up trying to figure out what the heck you are saying!! Try again..

Chow!!
