if you mean files that take up space but cannot be found or deleted, then try disc defragmentor, it might be that these are fragmented files which are useless and cannot be accessed and make your computer slower.

you cant remove a bad sector. its a phyiscal bad spot on the hard drive. the only thing you can do is to run scan disk and disk derfrag. all this will do is move the files back in to order and then mark the bad spots and move the files for the bad sectors to a good one. their is really nothing you can do about it sorry.

just do a scandisk and it will sort out your problems

goto start, click on run, type :- scandisk
