i just started birth control in march and i'm already around to the inactive pills and i thought this is when you're supposed to start. so are u supposed to start after this?

with my pills, i have a total of 7 inactive pills. when i get to say the 4th one, that's when i start to get my period and it's very consistent. if you still haven't gotten your period, take a pregnancy test. either you took the pills too early, too late, or you're pregnant.

You should start while on the inactive sugar pills.. If you don't start just keep taking your pills as normal and see how it goes and you most likley get your period next month. Your body is adjusting to the pill yet so it may take a month.

The inactive pills are just placebo or sugar pills, and they only exist to keep you in the habit of taking the pills every day. These pills have no hormone in them. You should start your period shortly after you begin taking the placebos because there is no hormone to affect your system.

You typically will experience your period on the 2nd or 3rd day of inactive pills.
It can occasionally skip (especially at the very beginning of taking pills), but if you skip 2 months in a row, it would be best to talk to your doctor.

A period has a mind of its own. I was really never on track with mine when I was on the pill.
