Sometimes I can, but there have been some really unexpected twists on some of these movies, lately. The Wicker Man & The Departed, just to name a couple.

Most of the writers today have given up on creative thinking, and if you notice, most of the movies are throwbacks from yesterday/ Nobody has any new ideas. So, for the most part - because I am a reader and can understand the "STORY MAP', I can almost tell how a movie will end. There have been few surprises lately.

YEAAAHHH> They all follow this pattern. like if the movie has basically 2 main characters and they CANNOT stand EAch other, you already know dat they are gnna get close in the end and probably get together. Ive seen a couple of movies that surprised me in the end, but most movies are soooo predictable... it's riculous

98% of the time.
Especially when the movie is like "Titanic" or "Death of a Salesman". "Kill Bill", now that was a big mystery. "Kill Bill 2", what did he have a twin? If it took you two movies to kill him why didn't you call the first one "Try to Kill Bill"?
Generally speaking, the ground work for an ending is set in the first five minutes of the film and if you pay attention there are no surprises.

Sometimes but if I can guess how it ends then to me it's not a good movie. I don't like predictable movies.

Yes most of the time. Then there are times when the ending is a total surprise!

Most of the time I can see it coming about half way through. I guessed the Sixth Sense before it was over.

Yup, by the time the words start flashing around on the screen, I've got that movie nailed.

I totally guessed 'The Crying Game'. I couldn't believe the hype surrounding the "big surprise ending". I TOTALLY knew it was a guy!
