Why do the Winners or the Runner ups, don't like giving credit to American Idol for their success?

DAUGHTRY doesn't like to talk about American Idol?
does any one know why?

I,m not to sure what you are trying to say so i,m having a guess.
The winners of the show don,t like to give any credit to the show for there fame??
Being the winner of a show like idol is not seen as being very cool in the world of music..

They should give credit to the ppl who got them there. The American Idol viewers. Just kidding. LOL.
