My husband and I are TTC. We are pretty healthy. So far no luck. I come on here and I see some of these questions and I feel sick to my stomach. Women smoking weed while pregnant, women drinking, women smoking cigs and it truly disgusts me. So my question is why are these idiots getting pregnant and the rest of us who truly want to be pregnant and have a healthy baby are having such a difficult time??????

The best things come to those who wait.....and are patient. I totally agree with what you are saying it just doesn't seem fair. Your time will come and when it does you will be So much more thankful than the idiots who take the whole process of bringing a life into this world for granted. Lesley I'm so with you on that one. My wife and I have gone through what you're going through now. And we felt the same exact way!
Women smoking, drinking, snorting, stripping, getting high, and who knows what else while pregnant. Or worse.. stories about babies being left in dumpsters!
Abortion: a woman's right to choose?? Don't even get me started on that one.
Idiots throwing their babies away while you struggle just to conceive.
It isn't fair, and frankly.. it pisses you off.
But I can tell you and your husband to stay positive and don't give up hope. You WILL get pregnant, trust me. All I can say is that it WILL happen.
My wife and I started TTC back in June of last year. We didn't get pregnant until January of this year. Now we're 4 months pregnant and thrilled. The ironic thing, is that January was the month that we decided to stop worrying and stressing about it. Then, of course, we were blessed with a baby. LOL Isn't that just how life is?
So have hope.. okay? You'll get there. And ya know what? You guys will be the best parents out there.. because you actually WANT your child. I know that a day won't pass that your child won't know that he or she is appreciated and loved.
Because you will remember how badly you wanted him or her. When he or she screws up one day down the road, I believe that you'll think back to these days.. and you'll smile. You'll be glad that you have a daughter or a son to ground :)

I totally agree with you. My husband and I tried for 8 months to get pregnant and had no luck. Meanwhile I saw people abusing the unborn and infant children. I spoke to one of my relatives and she told me dont think about trying to concieve just enjoy sex and it will happen. Two months later I was pregnant.Now I am 18 weeks. My first son was 4 lbs 15 oz and I did not smoke or drink during my pregnancy. I knew a girl in high school that smoke everything you could think of and drank and had a 7 lb healthy baby. I wish you luck and I wish people would understand there are people out there who want children.If you do not want your give it away do not harm it.

Unfortunately the only person who can answer this is Mr Sod himself, he invented the law of injustices, and nobody can find him to change it!!!!
There is nothing anyone can say to make you feel better about this, you are right, it is totally unfair, but your time will come, keep doing what you are doing and ignore the rest of the nonsense, comfort yourself that your baby will have a head start above the offspring of the weed smoking, alcoholic, cig smoking idiots!!

Keep it positive, 80% of healthy couples TTC in thier 20s will be pregnant in the first year.
Conception is a miracle and takes time millions of things have to go right for a health baby to be born. Keep a journal of your ovulation dates, check your mucus, and relax. Each parent has gone through the same thing you are experiencing and questioning why. In short, it is out of your control, you are only human, there is a God and she loves you.

I agree with you. It's such a disgrace that people like that are able to receive such a blessing and deserving people like my godparents were never able to conceive. Also, for your situation, I'm sorry it hasn't worked out yet. Just keep trying and don't stress! Stress makes everything worse. Enjoy trying to conceive instead of thinking about it as it has to result in something. Maybe you should even try praying about it. Good luck.

That is such a good question. I have been lucky enough to be blessed with 4 of the greatest kids ever. And I did all that stuff before. But I quit! And they post it publicly and get upset when people 'smart off' to them about it. It is gross. I really hope you get to carry a baby soon. Try to be healthy enough for all of them. Just remember your kid will be there boss someday!

dont let what others do worry you as this is adding to your anxiety. it may be a case of trying too hard which is stressful for both you and your husband. Try to relax and make sure that your lovemaking isn't only about trying to conceive but rather a happy result of some quality time.

You're trying to hard. Just have fun and stop focusing so much on getting pregnant. I had the same problem and it was only when i relaxed and stopped stressing that i got pregnant.

Obviously number one they are not trying to conceive because they would not be doing those things if they were and number two people sometimes put things on here that aren't true so try not to work yourself up and have fun trying for your baby
