The killer was an unhappy man from South Korea. He was unhappy because of family issues/crisis, so he decided to make other people's lives unhappy which is really selfish but then he decided to kill himself.

stupid question. he was not a terrorist, although he did terrorize many souls. he was a transfer student, or from an overseas study program, here temporarily living on campus. He thought his girlfriend was cheating, or else knew it, and killed her and most likely the person who he suspected she was cheating with. He then hid out on campus for a while and when no one caught him, and he didn't receive the attention that he was craving from the incident, not to mention he figured he could still get caught, he went into the other building and went out with a blaze of glory. he was wanting to and expecting to die...

Why must everyone be a terrorist these days? He was just a disgruntled student. What makes you think a South Korean would be a terrorist?

It was a dude who had problems! Simple as that! Just cause he was from out of the country does not mean he was an undercover terrorist!

Top contributor, to what? Of course he was and he was sent by George Bush so we can have a war with them to get all of their oil. Bill Richardson went over there and set it all up. Next the Koreans will probably start sabotaging all of their Hyundais and KIA's so the Republicans can make more money on their General Motors stock.
I know you are bored and semi-retarded but surely you can do better then this.

I wish everyone would stop speculating until we have some real proof of the motives. So far there has not been any solid evidence that it wasn't just some wacko with a liking for guns and violence.

Definatly just a lone gunman. I figure he just killed his ex girlfriend, and a man that heard the unshot and triend to go to her aid. Then since he figured he was in trouble anyway decided to kill others. Then killed himself so he wouldn't go to prison.
