Why do people like to tell and listen to stories (myths,legends and fables)? Why have these stories been told over and over again throughout the years in all countries all over the world?

Everyone has a different motive. Some use it as a sport others find it better than discussing other known stories. They feel it's always interesting as everybody can add or remove in the same story as long as the truth is unknown. Sometimes it's like a joke or folklore.

because people live in reality and reality may be bad, so they need make their brain imagine things not real to make them overcome their bad reality

The majority of the Egyptian population is uneducated and they tend to believe the stories and legends and whatever their parents tell them and they make sure to pass it on to their children and their children's children,,
As simple as that .
