Emo. No contest there. Horrible stuff. I don't mind if it's depressing, but I do mind if all the band sings about is how life is horrid, and how love hurts, and how people are heartless. And then the tune is slow and unenthusiastic, with not a beat to it's name. Then half of them have that awful, whiny screaming in the last audible pitch below 'dog whistle'. It makes one want to smash one's stereo with a cinder block. I'm actually rather curious at all these people saying 'Christian rock'. Granted, some of it should just crawl back to where it came from, but some (Demon Hunter, Thousand Foot Krutch, etc.) is actually really good. It's actually hard to tell that they are Christian... ~Tiger
