CD-R disc only have so much capacity. 700 MB discs have 65 minutes of regular CD-Audio. So your request of "no limit to how many songs you put on them" doesn't really make sense, at least to me. As a disk is never infinite. Care to elaborate?

CDR discs can be used as 1) audio cds or 2) mp3 cds. if you burn it as an audio cd, it doesnt matter how big the file size is, you can still only have a certain amount of time. mp3 cds let you put as many songs as will fit storage wise, which is usually more because they are at a lesser quality (although i can't hear the difference). only some cd players can play mp3 cds, they are mostly used for computers

you should be able to adjust the quality of the audio cd in your burning program to add more time per cd. to make a mp3 cd should be in your preferences of your cd burner program like itunes

It depends on the sample rate of each file.
I have nearly 200 mp3's on a standard 700MB CD.
