Marijuana would be legal and guns would not. The right of a corporation to make a profit would not outrank the public right to clean air and water.

George W. Bush would be housed in the monkey house of the San Diego Zoo.

Doctors would be required to repay some of the fortune we spent on their education in public health before being licenced to practice for profit, and pharmaceutical companies would not be able to repatent medications by simply changing the inactive ingredients.

Companies acting against the public interest would have their assets seized and their boards of directors imprisoned, the same as we do with heroin dealers and other socially repugnant individuals.

Sex education in the schools would include unslanted information about birth control, abortion, sexually transmitted disease and (very importantly) how to generate an orgasm in your partner. Parents with objections would only be heard after they successfully passed the final exam.

The history curriculum would include details on how the corporate interests put Hitler into power as an effort to control the workforce and keep wages down, as well as comparatives to their most recent experiments in labour management (like George W. Bush).

Since I would by then have done enough to improve the lives of my fellows, I feel justified in including a few personal luxuries as well:

The National Hockey League would be required to return to the true rules, and the owners would all be locked in an elevator with an unfed Tie Domi.

Rush Limbaugh would be forcibly crossbred with Anne Coulter. Michael Moore would be likewise matched with Hillary Clinton. Then we would take the children of both unions and have them raised by gay libertarians in a secret Montana compound.

it would be ruled by an equal and just body.. exact amounts of demographic in government.. your community is 90% female ... your local gov would be 90% female.. we would then tie it together with a parliamentary style federal government, to be over seen by no less than 4 individual over site groups from each ethnic group..
Economic planning would be voted on by the poorest 25% and all environmental concerns would be held at a top level of action.. because without a planet there is nothing left to fantasize about..

A lot better than it is, but there would be a lot of people complaining. Also, I'd have the hover bike guy and "Killa D" as my principle deputies, they both seem to be on the right track!

There would be peace. We would set the example by being a peaceful nation. There would be a law requiring non-violence. We, as a country of peace would help everyone. There would be no prejudice. We would be known as a country of love. Acts of kindness would be rewarded. It would be a happy place to live.

I know this is a dream place, bit wouldn't it be wonderful!
