While working for my dad (he has a landscaping business) I end up mowing on a rider for about 4-7 hours; something that can be crazy boring. Is there a special headphone or something that will drown out the sound of the lawnmower, yet still connect to a PSP or any other Mp3 player and let me hear the music?

I had the same problem. I used ear buds and then covered my ears with standard noise dampening protectors which fit over the ear completely. . The ear buds fit inside the ear and the noise dampening protectors did not affect their fit or the music.

any larger studio style head phne would work, the draw back is they will be hot and your ears will sweat alot. i used to jsut use ear bubs or a standard type head phone, but the studio style will work, check any music shop or eletronics store.
