Say for example, Harry Potter seven is being releaed in America at 00:01 in the USA. Would some of you get it the moment the first area hit 00:01 or would you all wait, how does it work over there?

there are 4 time zones on the US mainland, each one would get it at its own 00:01 time, so there would be 4 different release times. and then hawaii and alaska have additional different time zones

SOME WOULD GET IT SOONER , BECAUSE WE HAVE THIS CRAZY THING CALLED 'TIME ZONE' AND THE COUNTRY IS DIVIDED INTO FIVE ZONES. STARTING FROM THE EAST : ATLANTIC, EASTERN, CENTRAL, MOUNTAIN AND PACIFIC. A DIFFERENCE OF ONE HOUR PER ZONE, SO THOUGH SOMEONE ON THE WEST WOULD GET IT THE THE NEXT DAY, BASICALLY EVERYONE COULD SAY THAT WE ALL GET STARTED AT THE SAME TIME. ONE COULD FLY EAST AND BEAT THE ' WEST READERS ' TO A PUNCH. THANKFULLY I DON'T KNOW ANYBODY WHO WOULD DO THAT.

I live on the Eastern coast, so if it was released at 12:01am EST, it would be released 12:01am CST , they would wait an hour later because it would not be the next day yet when it is 12:01 our time.
