There are many ways to advertise a business. paper, Flyers, TV, radio and on and on. But as this is under Search Engine Optimization, I must assume you refer to the internet as a way to advertise. That means you must have a web site.
You need a web site that is search engine ready, meaning that it has a design, content, links etc so engines can find the site and hopefully rank you higher then competitors. You are a regional site, so you need to be linked to regional business directories and sites as well.
You should do online Press Releases (PR) and get the word out as well. Do you offer anything special...such as online funneral participation fro those who may not be able to attend. This is becoming a BIG boom in your industry.
