i have a compaq presario s5500uk and i got a virus i partioned my c drive but forgot to that i needed to make?

a recovery cd now iv got not compaq recovery cd and no recovery partion on my c drive can i get a compaq recovery cd for free or the partion without paying please help

you can contact compaq and they can send you out the cd's that you will need. They claim they dont send recovery cd's because they want you to get familiar with your new pc by doing it yourself. That makes about as much sense as your typing did.

Contact Compaq (which is now HP) and talk to them. They usually will supply a recover CD for a small fee to cover shipping, etc. (Usually in the $10-20 range).
