A tragedy unfolded today that filled my eyes with tears
Filled my heart with the utmost of fears

To the fallen that didn't deserve this end
To the families whose love we all commend

I pray for you all with the utmost of care
God give us the strength and the heart to bare

The pain unfolds in all of us at this terrible time
The sun has set, but our hearts are open wide

To all of you reading this and those close to this tragedy
I pray to God to give us all peace and serenity

That we may learn by this horrific event
And realize our hearts are heavensent

I am not a student nor do I know anyone from Virgina tech
But the good Lord has touched my heart to post here and comment

God has called upon new angels to be free and roam
Rest in peace my dear friends in your new heavenly home

My dear friend I too pray with u that may their soul rest in peace n god give strength to their near n dear ones to overcome the loss.

But this does not end here.I would request the government of United states for immediate disarmament of guns & deadly weapons from each & every US household. So that we can make this world a safer place to live in.

I've lost several loved ones but I have never questioned God's existance. We are the selfish ones to want to keep people in this God forsaken world. Heaven is a much better place and God is great for allowing us that place to go home to after all the meanness in the world. I have a small child waiting for me in heaven and I take it very seriously when someone says there is no God. Look around you, watch the miracles, how can there not be a God. God allows us to make our own decisions and sometimes that's why bad things happens. God is our only hope. Everyone needs to realize that. My prayers go out to all the families who have lost loved ones to have strength while surviving. Our loved ones are in the best place they could be. No more pain or suffering or hatred, etc. they're waiting for us so we must do our best so we are ready when God calls us home!
