The US military has been caught red handed shooting at and killing journalists deliberately in Iraq.

They do this to intimidate International journalists who would expose American murders of innocent Iraqis to the world.

America learned the free press was thier enemy in Vietnam as it exposed all their war crimes to the worldon TV for the first time and they promised Iraq would be different.

Any wonder we barely get any reporting from Iraq and when we do its always within the cover of US troops so they can behave good on camera and look respectful to Iraqis for teh audience back home in the US.

Its a very carefully crafted charade by the US military and the average joesixpack is none the wiser.

America is neither free nor is there free speech. It wont be long till Yahoo deletes my account now, they already have deleted 3 of my previous accts for speaking my mind and posting anti US posts....... Americans cant handle the truth, because they are so fed lies by their media.

Granted there are criminal excesses being committed by Americans in Iraq. Granted that the United States has slipped into the hands of neofascist corporatists, and the public as a rule are totally ignorant of the truth. Granted that FOX news are blatant propagandists who lie like Goebbels.

Does any of the above excuse what the Iraqis are doing to each other? They had a chance to build a new nation, and are instead killing each other almost as fast as they breed.

I am with Mercutio: a pox on both your houses! The entire mess has been created by fundamentalist Islamics and fundamentalist corporatists, while the latter have used the paltry 9/11 controversy to embark on a crusade against public ownership.

Just as the British overthrew the Iranian government and instituted the Shah so their oil companies could access the publicly owned oil fields, so has the United States invaded Iraq. If Canada nationalized their oil, George W. Bush would find terrorists in Grand Prairie.

So the Republicans are insane. The world knows that. The Islamics are insane, too, so all we can do is hope the two sides can kill each other off without too many of the rest of us learning the true meaning of collateral damage.

This is one of the tactics of the antiwar agenda types. They cannot properly equate the majority death toll to the actual cause because it would not benefit that cause. In order for the rabid antiwar movement to be successful America must be made to look like an evil aggressor in all things. This was the tactic they used successfully during Vietnam and it is the same agenda they are pursuing today. At least the site you found appears to have a correct number, many of these people claim 5 and 6 times that number of deaths and lay it at the feet of the United States. I am not against people honestly expressing dissent against the war even when I don't agree with them, but there is nothing honest about these types of claims. Best advice is to ignore it as useless one sided rhetoric.

Ahh, the effects of brainwashing. I don't agree with every aspect of the war either, but don't call our troops killers either. The people making trouble for Iraq are the enemy (insurgents) and are assuring that our troops stay. I have friends over there, and these are unselfish people that have to come home to this sort of injustice.

Wow you are so enlightened. I had no idea the media and the government were so evil. Everyone knows it is in US interests to kill Iraqi civilians but now you have proved it. Thank you for spreading the truth. This conspiracy is out of control and it is people like you who are saving the day.

Did you and David l come from the same hole in the ground? I would not blame yahoo from deleting your account if all you want to do is spew B.S. As far a Iraqi oil, if we wanted it , we would have had it years ago. You two idiots are so typical. Don't have a clue.

The real question should be, how many of the dead insurgents are actually from Iran?

Because our troops really have a reason to kill innocent people, right?

Lies by the media? You mean like Dan Rather, right before the election?

You did it! You have convinced me. Now I know what is really going on. The US troops are dressing up as terrorists and driving up to crowded market places and blowing themselves up in car bombings. Those sneaky bastards.
