When it comes to names, there are two things most people do not think about, One is the inevitable nickname, the other is the flow. Not knowing what last name you have it is hard to find the right flow. But think about old Hollywood names and how effective they were. That was because they flowed well together.
Nicknames can be good or bad. Gabrielle is a beautiful name but not if everyone calls you Gabby. Arthur is not so nice but Art is. So, with this in mind, try a standard nickname and create the real name from it. Such as Ed. Ed is pretty cool but Edward or Edwin is not . So why not Edison? See? Cool real name cool nickname.
Hope this helps.

It's Ashton, not Ashdon. At least that's how Ashton Kutcher spells it. Maybe Asher or Ashwin?

hmmm....what about Cash? That's a name that has been growing on me lately.
Otherwise, instead of Ashely Jr., why don't you start a new naming tradition in your family where the son's middle name is his father's name? Then someday maybe your grandson will have his father's name for a middle name and so on. I have a friend whose family has this tradition and I've always thought it was pretty neat.

I am a Sub. Teacher for a Primary School and heard a little boys name and thought it was to cute, his name was Jaspen, he is the cuttest little thing. There is a couple of more I have gotten to know too, Jude, Julian, Forest, Gabe and Seth, and my son's name is Cameron. I hope I have given you a couple of names that you both might like, let me know which you deside on, one of my suggestions or not, I am still curiouse.
I too was going to let you know that I like the girl name yall picked out, it is a sweet name. I have a Hailey and an Emma myself, not to brag on my kids though ;), you know how mama's are!!

Why not use Ashley as the middle name and then give him a very masculine, classic first name like James or Mark or something?
