I know I can't. Sometimes people mess around, so you don't know the real them anyway. And because you aren't hearing a person's tone of voice, things that are written can be mis-interpreted easily.

I let my personality shine through in my answers. I'm an honest person with a quirky sense of humor. Sometimes I can be very sarcastic. I have no patience for idiots, but I'm generally a good person. So, I'm just a little crazy. What's wrong with that?

You can tell if someone is caring, friendly and genuinely nice, because it makes a nice persona to care enough to try and help people they have never met to feel better about their problems even if the question seems silly to some

No, just as you cant determine a book from its cover and first page. You have to understand the many variables that may be in play when people post here (mood, time of day) and possible current events that may of influenced them.
You need to understand context as well.

no you can't tell anything. It depends on if it was under your name but you may be asking a question for a friend, or you may be just joking or just wondering about something.
