The only thing I changed was my Prayer List to include those most affected by what happened. I was in the military and learned early in life to be aware of my surroundings, so, there really nothing to change. It not like this has not happened before or will not happen again. It is sad and these things are hard to understand. But, I not think there much I can do to change this. Had I been there, then true, maybe I would have interacted to stop the young man, but, I can not be sure of that, as I was not there and not know the situation those people were in.

Change the gun laws. The fact that this young man was a foreigner is of no consequence; he could have been anybody.
There's no reason why the average American citizen needs to own either a handgun or a semiautomatic weapon of any type. I live near one of the highest-crime cities in the country, and I see it locally every single day; the number of deaths from handguns in my hometown annually far outnumbers the number of people who died at Virginia Tech (I'm not trying to downplay the intensity of this massacre by saying this however.)
WHEN are we going to put our collective feet down and tell the gun lobby----enough is enough? Sadly, I believe there will be a brief outcry but in the end, nothing will change. God help us.

Absolutely nothing. I wish those students would have been able to defend themselves but I don't think I can change the laws.

I'm going to live like i was dying. it occured to me yesterday that death is usually unexpected, so you might as well love better & live better than you think is necesisary because you never know if your gonna get another chance to say or do what you need to.

Take a concealed carry course so I can be licensed to carry a concealed handgun everywhere I go. That's the way we do things in Oklahoma and Texas.

I'm going to stock up on weapons. At least I would if my history of mental illness didn't prevent it. Maybe I can get my girlfriend to get some guns to keep around the house.
