maybe because many students in his school always bullied him which is common to teenage Americans bullying Asians. or maybe a teacher get mad at him and start insulting him or maybe his parents always criticize him that he is no good and he is depressed that he develop low self worth, he is mad at himself and to the world, he is mad coz no one tries to help him, he is mad coz no one understand him, he is mad coz he thinks no one loves him, its difficult for him to overcome his problem, he is alone, so he thinks that the best solution is killing students and teachers so that the world would remember him....poor young man....so let's us not put others down, don't criticize others, always respect one another regardless of race...peace

The story we got over here is that he had an argument with his girlfriend and there was another man there who was defending her. I think after he shot the first two he was cornered and he began to shoot anything in his way to get out but he went too far and realized he was finished so he went crazy shot as many as he could and then put an end to his own life. I believe it was a relationship problem.

I read that it seems as though he was specifically aiming towards two classes..forgot which. Maybe he wanted to be famous for something and it turns out to be that he was the gunman for the deadliest shooting in US history. Plus he might have planned it out on where most students would be at during the shootout.

Rosie O' when she refused to say sorry about making fun of Asians, and told them to get over it...
Who knows, and will we truly ever know. I know that it is a shame, we can go on to learn from it. Things like this happen, there is not much we can do to prevent it. Unless you want to turn schools into prisons.
** keep in mind, we do not know how he got the guns...a FBI check may have had nothing to do with it. When you are hell bent on doing something of that nature, you will find away. It is a shame, but when one chooses to unleash terror like this there is not a lot that can be done, unless professors and students start to carry their own wepons to class, which is not the answer either.

Who knows? He may have been upset with a girlfriend or just full of hatred and completely out of his mind! Whatever the motive, it was a horrible and tragic situation. Those poor students and professors were innocent!

It was a domestic dispute with his girl friend. He then killed a counselor who tried to intervene. Then two hours later he went nuts again. Is that enough?

I couldn't give you a motive, but I want to know what he was doing in this country. And who sold him a gun because you need FBI approval and someone here on a student visa surely wouldn't get that.
