Wal-mart has these metal circles in the craft section. Get one of those, blue or pink ribbon, and some baby scrapbook stickers and a pack of newborn or size 1 diapers. One diaper at a time unfold it put one side on each side of the ring and rubberband it at the bottom...do that all the way around and smush them together real tight to make a wreath. Decide which side you want to face front then tie the ribbon in bows around the rubberbands. Then place the stickers wherever you like on each of the diapers. I usually buy a It's girl or boy card and punch a hole in the top middle and tie it at the top so when they go to the hospital she can hang it on the door and people can sign as they come in.....Tada baby wreat and she can use the diapers.
Games.....Fold some napkins like diapers and put melted candybars in them have the guests eat them to try to guess what kind of candy bar they have.
Have jar of baby rice with babysafety pins in the rice...make them close their eyes and give them i min to find as many as they can...it's harder than you think.
Buy some dark colored balloons and a little bitty baby that would go on a cake. Put the baby in one of the balloons then fill them all with water. Have everyone go outside and break their water to see who has the baby.
The price is right. Buy some items like pacifiers, formula, wipes, shampoo that mom can keep. Line them up on the counter with the price on an index card facing backwards and let everyone guess how much they cost.
For men only........Take a bunch of baby bottles and fill them with punch or pop and make all the men drink the bottles to see who can finish first...that one is hillarious.

One of my favorite and more unique baby shower games is like musical chairs, but instead your guests pass around 3 baby bottles filled with apple juice... the 3 guests who are holding the bottles when the music stops has a race to see who can drink the juice the fastest. What they don't know is that 1 of the 3 bottles is sealed shut. I've been to 2 different showers that have done this and it is really comical & is a fun "icebreaker."
Another unique & fun thing to do at a baby shower is to do a "Mad Lib" story about the expectant parent(s) and baby (& siblings too if applicable). You can either find one on the internet or you can make one up that is more relevant to the individual. You could do a story on the full 9 month term - experiences that the expectant mom had (finding out she was expecting, telling her family & friends, food aversions, changes in her body - clothing, hair, ankles swelling, feeling the baby move & kick, heartburn, etc., doctor appointments (ultrasounds, listening to the heart rate...), coming up with baby names, decorating & planning the nursery, packing the bags for the hospital...). Pass around a sheet of paper with the "fill in the blanks" for nouns, adjectives, verbs, places, time, color, etc. Have each guest fill in 2 or 3 blanks (depending on the number of guests you have at the party) and then read the story to everyone with the words they provided inserted into the story. This is always fun & provides a lot of laughs! :)
My sister-in-law is expecting & she just told me about another game that she thought would be fun - you ask all of the guests to guess how many sheets of toilet paper (or length of yarn) it would take to go around the expectant mother's (or parent's) belly. Whoever is the closest wins a prize.
As far as the unique gifts given to the winners of the games... you can do many different things, depending on how much you want to spend. Some ideas would include: $5 gift certificate to a local coffee shop / bakery, plant, stationary, music cd, pen set, babysitting certificate (from you) for 2 hours, blank card set, bookmark, potpourri... your options are limitless! :) If you are trying to keep the cost of the gifts low, visit a dollar store and browse the aisles - you can usually find some nice blank card sets, a frame, candles, etc.
Decorations: I really like the diaper cakes, but if you are looking to do something different, you could do something simple like just putting flowers in vases throughout the party room or on the tables, put helium balloons all around, make a centerpiece out of baby bottles, pacifiers, rattles, bibs, baby spoons, etc. and then scatter baby pins around on the table like you would with confetti on a table. Keep in mind that sometimes the more simple decorations are the best. You could even use potted flowers or flowers in vases as your decorations & then give these away as your prizes for the games!
Best of luck with the shower! Have fun!

Oh my gosh!
There is a game that you can play with diapers but it is kind of cool and gross.
You must have several different candy bars and a diaper for each one. Example: Take a snickers bar and place it in the diaper, allow it to melt until it is unrecognizable, you can even squish it a little to make it look like "baby poop'. Do this with several candy bars. During your shower, pass them around and your guests must guess which diaper holds what candy bar. They can look, smell, and even taste it in order to find their answer.
Sounds gross, but your guests will talk about it for years to come. It trully is more fun that you might think. Eww!
By the way...Congrats!

For my babyshower, my sister got really cute baby bottles for everyone to serve the champagne and made the toast. It was really fun. Another game is making two teams and writing in papers thigs you do in pregnancy, labor or with your baby, then someone from the other team has to act it out and the rest of the team has to guess what she is trying to say. Give short times for the answers, to make it more interesting. Buy good prices for the winners to make the games more interesting, like a GFC for a massage or a a dildo.

What we did with my first baby shower was play "Pin the Dooty on the Booty" We drew a big babies butt on a piece of paper and got melted chocolate to use as the poop. We blindfolded everyone and they had to smear the poop on the butt. Mimics pin the tail on the donkey.
We had a blast, it was really fun for all the older people there too, like the grandparents etc. And the little kids thought it was hilarious watching everyone put poop on the baby!
Hope that helps!
(Just melt chocolate in a bowl and have them dip there two or three fingers in it with a square of toilet paper. It gets kind of messy. So keep wet towels around to clean your hands off)

Ok this really isn't a game but I went to a shower once that had a raffle listed on the invitation. Everyone had to bring the new mom a pack of diapers to be entered into the raffle to get a prize. I thought it was a really great idea.

My older sister did my baby shower, and she did a really funny/semi-gross game that made for some hilarious pictures from the shower!!
She took 6 different diapers, and filled them with broken up bits of 6 different kinds of chocolate candy bars. We had to pass them around and taste the "poop" in the diapers, and try to accurately name what kind of candy bar each one was....It was really funny to watch, and much harder than I would have thought! Whoever accurately named them all or the most of them won.....
Have fun at your shower!

I saw a baby shower game that was on the tv show 'girls of the playboy mansion'
I thought it was a pretty clever and funny game to play.
I can't remember what it was called. Basically, you melt different kinds of chocolate bars and put each one in a nappy and your guests have to guess what kind of chocolate bar it is by smelling, looking (and licking if they want?) You can be creative and make runny diarrhea ones or chunky ones, depending on the choice of chocolate bar. You could even choose to blind fold your guests.
Have fun!

The last shower I threw, the theme was movies/celebrity babies. I did a name that tune game with movie songs, then the favor was that CD. We also did a match the celebrity to the baby game. And charades/pictionary where we acted out movies that had babies in them, or songs, like Rock abye Baby, or groups like the Mamas and the Papas.
Then for snacks we did popcorn, twizzlers, nachos, etc.
Prizes for games were the big boxes of movie candy.
