what i can't understand is...

The International Astronomical Union voted on an official definition of the word "planet" on Aug,24,2006.
celestial bodies must the following conditions in order to be classified as planets, the body must be in orbit around a star ,while not being itself a star, the body must be massive enough for its own gravity to pull it into a nearly spherical shape.

what i can't understand is 'the body must be massive enough for its own gravity to pull it into a nearly spherical shape.'

especially,, i dont know the meaning of ' pull into'..

give me easy explaination of 'pull into'

i guess... the meaning of 'pull into' isnt 'moving into some place and stoping there' , right?

so... what is the meaning of?

The same force that 'pulls you' back to the ground when you jump, 'pulls' the ground itself, as well as everything contained underneath towards the center of the earth. All things that make up a planet become packed in and around the center of the planet and create a spherical shape. This is what definition means, that to be a planet, it must have this 'pull' of gravity to create this shape.

let start with the first one: it means that the celestial body have enough mass to pull its own gravity in a spherical shape.
the meaning of the "pull into" is that the gravity will move something by means of pulling that something is the celestial sphere. It will pull it in a nearly spherical shape.
