The mating call of the Trolleyious Dollious is a very distinctive Donk Donk sound, heard by our ancestors in the Forrest's of Asdana and Tescoxaco, extending all the way to the Wall mart river.

I would choose a trolley that went Donk Donk - very good IMO It lets folk know to get out the way - here comes a shopper of standing and importance .
To be shy of making yourself - your presence - known is Dork Dork never mind Donk Donk
You crack me up

The wheels need oiling, I think. I don't like it when I'm at the supermarket and pick the trolley that goes sideways. Always happens to me!

If by trolleys, you mean grocery carts, ( I had to think about that) it's just your bad luck, I guess. They should check the carts on a regular basis to make sure the wheels don't make sounds that would drive dogs wild.
