Joe Thomas should go to the first team that could use an offensive lineman -- really the Raiders at #1. Detroit shouldn't pick a QB or WR, and Brady Quinn really shouldn't be drafted until the fourth round, but he'll probably go to Cleveland at #3. It's not impossible for Thomas to go #2, but he might fall further since rumor has it that the Bucs really want Johnson.
Right now, it looks like Russell will go #1, Quinn #3, and Johnson #4, with Detroit's pick being a mystery. We'll see. That's part of the fun of the draft, not knowing until it happens, right?

Personally, I think Russell will go first unless Al Davis has some draft day surprise .I Think the Lions if they were smart would take Joe Thomas because they are in definite need of good line help. The only other player would be probably Quinn. I think Tampa Bay will go to Avery Johnson togive Garcia a ggod target to throw to downfield because Tampa Bay needs a better vertical game to do better. Then I think Quinn will go to Cleveland or it will be Adrian Peterson out of Oklahoma. Then Quinn would probably drop to 7th and be picked up by the Vikings. I think the most intriguing and most mysterious pick will be at # 6 Washington. They do not have a 2nd, 3rd or 4th round pick and could trade down to get more picks because it has been seen that the free agency market has not been all too successful in results for Washington. If they do pick at # 6 I see them taking Landry from LSU.

In the draft, you draft either your area of outstanding need or best player available. If Russell, Quinn, and Johnson go 1-2-3, then Tampa should pick Gaines Adams. They are in need of a pass rusher with the aging Simeon Rice. I find it odd though that Cleveland has not even mentioned Calvin Johnson as a possiblilty. Maybe they think Braylon Edwards can actually get through an entire season without being injured.

If the first three choices are what you mention above, I honestly think the Bucs will pass on Thomas. The Bucs already have a very talented offensive line and seem pretty set. The team's main weakness is at DT where they have had trouble getting to the passer. To fill up this weakness, I think they'll pick the best defensive tackle available and that will be Amobi Okoye of Louisville. After his pro day workout where he ran a 4.88, 40 at 301 lbs. and showed solid technique while Alan Branch of Michigan was very sluggish and ordinary, Okoye jumped to the top of the DT list. Thomas is an outstanding OL, but not a good match for Tampa Bay.

I don't expect the Lions to pick Quinn at #2, as a Lions fan I actually hope to see Calvin Johnson get called. Truthfully the smart move might be to trade the pick to someone who wants Johnson and pick later in the top 10 and the Lions could take Joe Thomas. I think Quinn is going to go later to perhaps Cleveland.

If it happens that way then yes, but I highly doubt the Browns would pass on Joe Thomas with the third pick. Johnson could also go to the Raiders at #1 if they manage to work out a trade to get rid of Randy Moss.

Johnson won't go to the Browns, they need someone who can protect the quarterback. And the Browns have Braylon Edwards, they have already invested in him. But, Johnson will still be an instant hit. The Bucs will easily contend for the NFC south with Johnson on board.

thomas should be drafted in the top 10. detroit seems the most logical place right now. however, millen wants to work on that defense more then the offense right now. so dont be surprised to see detroit pick a DL in the first round. they can wait on a qb and wr. the browns and bucs both need help on OL, but they may also go wth a hb and wr themselves.
