The secret is that it's a joke. A guy named Berlitz wrote a book called "Invisible Residents" that claimed it was caused by an undersea civilization. Of course all the intelligent sheep we have believed him. A few years later, another book was written called "Bermuda Triangle Mystery - Solved" which debunked everything the first book said. Of course, there are still many sheep who hold on to the fairy tale. Insurance companies do not charge a premium for boats and planes that operate there.

DO NOT BELEIVE ITS A SHAM. Its real Im reading a bok on it right now. Most people are starting to beleive that its a certain kind of magnetic rock that pulls the ships and airplanes in but that only occures during certain kinds of wether. Only indiots that have NO idea what the bermuda triangle is would say thats it dosnt exist. I have done soooo... much research on it and it most certainly DOES exist. Im going to give you the title and author of the book that im reading, read it. It will convince you as well. Its called "Into The Bermuda Triangle" By Gian J. Quasar. Its a great book!

The "secret" of the Bermuda Triangle is that it is a myth that has been disproven. For a much more interesting mystery, look up the "Great Lakes Triangle".

If we told you, it wouldn't be a secret anymore. Seriously, scientific data gathered about the seemingly paranormal things that happen there also happen equally in many other parts of the world. Every tv show you see never comes up with a conclusion that is firm. I think the secret lies in the amount of money book writers and tv show producers make off the folks who buy into this illusion. If there were something there of proven scientific significance, some Nobel Prizes and non-tabloid headlines would have been seen in addition to your local tv news programs. We ain't seen 'em yet.
Also, most deep sea oil fields all over the world produce some methane. Its a naturally occurring byproduct of oil formation along with ethane, propane etc.

Its not a triangle or square ( 4 equal sides) its a quadrilateral (any shape 4 sided) methane gas causes electrical problems with navigation equipment. Its the only place in the ocean that produces methane gas.
