Really, I'm just asking. Even paronoids have real enemies.

Danger works great for some people... It helps scare the heck out people so they elect you out of fear...

The incident at V-Tech happened yesterday, when did you hear about this being a terrorist attack? You have no idea what happened, where do you get the gall to group him in with actual terrorists (and it's worth noting that the other 4 are only just similar, not identical).

Lebanon: Clash of beliefs. No different from the Crusades, definitely different from the others.

McVeigh: No real purpose, as far as I'm concerned. Probably just a crazy.

9/11: Orders of a man with a distinct hatred of the United States.

Big difference between mentalities. The only similarity worth noting is that people died for no reason.

As far as VT, 9/11, and Oklahoma City are concerned, I think that NOBODY expected those attacks to take place. As far as Lebanon and Dubai go, I think that people sort of expect something tragic to happen there, but they don't know how to predict or prevent such a thing.
