I usually eat probally 4000 calories a day..but I was so sick of being fat so I cut it down. I have been eating no more then 1400 cals a day and I only lost 1 pound in a week. I am 21 and I weigh 140 pounds....if that has anything to do with it..I am so fat.. why am I losing weight slow. I thought the first week you were suppose to lose the most weight.

you need to exercise, watch what u eat, drink 8 glasses of water a day ------slowly is the way to lose it---1/2 to 2 lbs a week is the way to go

It takes a while. I lose anywhere from 1/2 to 1 pound per MONTH, and I've cut back on my calories and what I eat.

1 pound a week is GOOD. to me anyway :)

And, I would love to weigh 140. I'm a bit over that.

You aren't fat.

I don't know why you lost only one pound in a week. Yoplait light can help you lose weight as part of a reduced calorie deit. You can also drink 24oz of FAT FREE MILK a day as part of a reduced calorie deit. Do both of these and you might start shaving off some pounds :)! Good Luck!

Your age is far less relevant here than your height.

1 pound per week is an excellent rate to take off weight!

Slow and easy is far better for staying healthy, and later maintaining your target weight, than big losses.

Big losses tend to upset your body's own adjustments, which then tend to take a big swing in the opposite direction, and you're riding the weight roller-coaster.

Sounds to me like you're doing just fine! Congratulations and keep up the good work!

im 83 kilos and im 13 and im 4.7 and im a fat cow and i only eat upto 700 calories A DAY!
