I guess I'm the only UAE-national & teenager here..
In my opinion, we teenagers here are having a great time. The place has become more modernized than what we have thought it would be. Furthermore, there are also many projects coming like the Dubailand which is going to be amazing! studying here has changed very much: I study in the AUS (American University of Sharjah) which is the best university in UAE. I know it's a long way living in Dubai, studying in Sharjah, but it's worth it. So don't worry, Dubai has so many activities and is also a night life city. Some people may not even notice that it's in the Middle East since it is so updated and advanced than many european countries. Take a look on one of the many Dubai City Guides websites and learn more about the activities: http://www.dxb.com
