Just measure it & find one the same size & thickness or get one you can cut down, You may want to do a search online through the maker of the furnace for disposable filters for your unit. Good Luck!!!

If the filter is black as in soot black ,I would be concerned about the furnace circulating products of combustion. If the furnace room or basement is too tight (insufficient oxygen for clean combustion) the room developes a negative pressure or vacuum as the furnace takes in air in the room and "burns " it. This air needs to be replaced and it will come from anywhere it can, even right back down the chimney. I've seen it a lot as a heating tech. I have also seen lots of soot from burning inexpensive candles. If your filters are covered with normal household dust , then they are doing their job.

The filter that you have is much better.
If it's gettig worn out, get a replacement through the manufacturer.
I know it's a little bit of a pain to wash, but the filter that you currently have is far better, & could be part of an electronic filtration system.
Hope this helped, good luck!

Electronic air filters are costly and are good for your health. You should continu washing them with DAS or Fantastic in the bathtub, rinse with hot water, their easy to clean. Oderwise, if you use disposable ones, you'll have to change them from time to time, so your not realy saving time.

I have found filter media at Home Centers. You cut it to the proper size. It has no frame. I get one that is 30" x 30".

the filter you have is much better and you should go to the dealer that sells them and buy 2 of them....put one in unit store other one....every thirty days change them out...clean the one you removed then in thirty days change it with other....this way you always have one cleaned to go in unit and you can clean the one you removed and let it dry throughly
