Jasper is an English form of Gaspar or Caspar, the name of one of the Three Kings or Magi.

Daisy is a pet name for Margaret, based on the similarity between this name and the French name of the flower: marguerite. (Margaret is actually from a Greek word meaning 'pearl'.)

I actually kinda like both of them, but especially Jasper. (I know someone named Jasper, and he's an all-around nice guy.)

I'm not keen on Jasper ... reminds me of Casper the friendly ghost or a name from the 50s. But Daisy is very pretty.

Of course, if you really like Jasper... go with your instinct! No matter what name you choose, you'll find people who don't care for it.

I like Jasper.

I do not like Daisy unless you are naming a pet. Can you imagine her sending out her resume later in life with the name Daisy on the top? You might as well get her a boob job and send her to the truck stop.

Well Jasper is my boy name so naturally I LOVE it! My great granddaddys name was Jasper. Dont care for Daisy though, makes me think of sour cream for some reason sorry. How about Maisy or Mazi? Good luck on your names.

Jasper sounds like a dog, and I like Lily better if you want to use a flower name. Daisy isn't that bad though.
