Are you married? How will your daughter feel when she finds out? If you're not married and it was consensual, age really doesn't matter. I dated a man older than my father and it was one of the best relationships I ever had. I think what you really need to consider here is why do you feel guilty? I don't think the age factor is the entire reason your conscience is kicking your butt. However, if you decide to pursue this relationship, I suggest having a discussion with your daughter first. It might be helpful to know her feelings on the matter.

If it has not been a forced one you need not repent for it. The ages do not matter as long as both the persons are interested in it. Regarding the relationship as daughter's friend etc are all society made and is your false concern. What has happened is alright as long as it has been done with mutual consent. Thats all nothing more or nothing less.

I think that you need to realize what your doing. You are jeopardizing your relationship with your daughter over some fantasy. I think that you should stop as soon as possible and if the girl still wants to do stuff you should talk some sense into her.
If you think that there isn't any way to avoid her, just leave the house or stay away from her every time she comes over, or you can just tell her to stay away from you. You shouldn't have to leave your house just because some immature girl wants to act childish.
You guys need to stop now!

Tell your daughter what happened see how she feels about it I'll bet she wont like it very much. you said the girl is half your age. then you should view her as a child even if she is 21.what would you do if one of your friends slept with your daughter? how would you feel about that? Don't look at it like a horny old man.Look at it like her dad would.

It relies upon on a pair of factors - how previously your daughter died and how a lot of human beings you talk approximately this to. i'm sorry on your loss. it incredibly is hard for oldsters to bury their infants. It hurts, deeply. i might recommend that no longer all your pals might desire to take heed to your grief. there's a time for grief and that i understand that actual associates share in different associates' grief. yet, then there's a time to head on - no longer ignore, yet flow previous the grief. There comes a time, that as quickly as the area comes up, we keep in mind and chuckle over the reliable cases. I honestly have watched a kin who misplaced their Dad - left at the back of are his spouse and 3 daughter who have been 13, 12 and 10, on the time. He replaced into additionally a reliable pal of ours. yet, watching his daughters develop and flourish even nevertheless they generally omit their Dad - that first year replaced into difficult on them - various adjustments and various determining that Dad replaced into no longer there anymore. yet, quickly they adjusted. especially circumstances, they are in a position to shed some tears, lacking him, even after 7 years of his passing. yet, they do no longer might desire to speak approximately him for all time, yet do savour some reliable concepts. Grief is familiar. Grief for a protracted quantity of time might pick some adjustments, nevertheless. it would desire to take a touch counseling, yet might take some self administration adjustments. perhaps the two.

hopefully you are single. Age does not matter but it may end up causing trouble with your daughter. So you need to think this out before anything else happens

what a responsible parent you are...
think about how hurt your daughters going to be when she finds this out. you totally crossed the line as a parent and i doubt she will include you in her personal life now that you invaded her friends and privacy. you need some help. maybe go speak to a sex therapist and find out what you problem is.

Ahh.... you should have thought a bit more careful about this.

I say you tell your daughter. With her friend with you. May be a shock but its best not to hide stuff like this behind your back.
