I'd love to drive the Stratos, it's more more interesting and rare.
I sat in one many years ago and it's all a bit weird, the seat and pedals didn't line up like a bad left hand drive conversion but the car WAS left hand drive.lol
Quite a few Europa around still, nice but i never found it excited me .
In the long run, they'd probably both send you to an early grave with servicing costs because of shocking reliability.

Like theres even any choice there! The Europa is a pig ugly dog that lotus hsould have killed at birth.
It's got to be the Stratos! Bertone designed, ferrari engined (till the later models got hit with the turbocharged bag of nails) and still gorgeous even by todays standards. You dont drive a stratos, you flail your arms wildly just trying to keep it in a straight line.
Try finding one though.....

Neither. The Lancia rusted to bits and the doors on the Lotus started to sag seriously when open after the car was a year or two old.

Either way not imported and very hard to get repair parts. Does the term Money Pit ring a bell? How about a new 306 HP Nissan 350Z car? That way you can own it and actually drive around in it.
