Karma is all about the law of causality!
You all agree that any action leads to a reaction!!!
Sometimes, not all the circumstances are united for you to pay for your actions in this lifetime itself, so the impending karma leads to another life, where you pay for your debts or enjoy your past positive acts!
U cannot say karma is nonsense!
It's the only concept which can afford to explain inequalities on Earth!!! Everyone's the product of individual karmas!!!

Actually there is no such thing as good "Karma" in the Hindu sense. Your goal is to get rid of all the karma you have accured during this life and past lives. Karma is gained through selfish, destructive actions. The only way to get rid of this debt is through right actions and right thoughts. If you have no karma it is possible escape the cycle of samsara and attain oneness with God. If you die with karma you will be forced to be reincarnated and to spend another life on this earth. (or perhaps another planet)
The popular version of karma is basically, what goes around, comes around. By doing good deeds, something good is bound to happend to you. Most people belive these good things will happend while still in your earthly body. Same with bad things, if you commit evil deeds, evil will come to. I must say I agree fully with the above, and I do not see it in conflict with any religion, or athiesm.

Karma is a Hindu/Buddhist teaching. Basically Karma is: what goes around comes around. If you do something good, you will be rewarded. If you do something bad, you will be punished.
Basically the spiritual version of "an eye for an eye" or "tit for tat".
Interestingly enough, 'Karma' is the reason the caste system survived in India for centuries. You see, people born into each caste would think (because Hindus also belive in predestiny) , "If I'm unhappy with my caste, that means I'm unhappy with the destiny God has given me. That means I'm telling God I'm unhappy with his decision. If I insult God like this, God will insult me too. Maybe in this life maybe in the next. But if I am happy and content with my caste even though I don't like it all that much, maybe in my next life, I'll be born into a better caste!"
Thus because of the combined beliefs in Karma, Destiny, and Reincarnation, the caste system thrived in India for centuries.
Oh, and by the way, I do believe in Karma :-)

Yes, my Dad does not treat his family right and nothing he tries to get off the ground works. Karma is a *****...so people need to watch their actions. Karma is simple pay back. Good Karma comes to you too! I have been very lucky to get good friends and a good boyfriend that have been there for my in hard times. Helping people, the earth and creating peace and harmony multiplies.

Karma is all about the distribution of energy, and it's something that happens fairly instantly in my experience, rather than over lifetimes. Think of it as universal feedback - if you do something bad which you know to be bad, there will be a reaction and it will be quick.
The idea of a karma balance which moves with you between lives is a new age concept, as far as I can tell, and not a buddhist concept.
I believe in universal feedback - this is useful; I do not believe in a tab that exists between incarnations - g*d would not invent such a thing.

Well you just said 'do you believe in it?' meaning you already have the understanding that karma is a belief.
Karma is a belief that if one lives a life of good, good things will happen and vise versa.
Its a myth and can never be proven but it is a positive look on the way to live life.
I believe in karma to a certain extent just to make myself feel good from time to time.

Karma is like what goes around comes around. I do believe in it. When you send out negativity that is what you will receive.

"Karma" is the basis behind the golden rule, which is in all belief systems. It's based on the fact we create our own realities with our thoughts/actions today deciding our tomorrows with the creative visualization skills we all have.
It NEVER fails either ; )

Karma is kind of like debt that you have to pay off in the next life. If you're a good person, you'll have good karma, and you'll advance in your next life because of it. If you have bad karma, you'll have to pay it off by suffering in the next life.
Karma and reincarnation to hand-in-hand. Since I don't believe in reincarnation, I don't believe in karma either.
The idea of karma comes from Hinduism and some forms of Buddhism.

To explain Karma...think this way...you wish so and so A good morning.. in return they do the same for you and your day seems brighter. You wish something mean to someone and down the road you fall in a mud puddle.. What goes around comes around!
