So was the first victim.

I was shocked to see how many school shootings there have been in the United States over the past 10 years - there were about 50 separate incidents, all but two resulted in fatalities. The shooters were usually aged 14-15, and other than one boy with an Hispanic name, every single one of the shooters was white American.

The only thing these people who go on killing rampages in schools, post offices, factories, offices, restaurants, etc. have in common is their gender. Always male. Plus the fact they're all insane, of course.

If people are going to start judging asian-americans now the way they judged middle eastern americans after 9/11...it isn't right. just because someone is from a particular decent, doesn't mean ALL people of that decent are murderers. Not ALL bald angry white men are nazis. Not all african americans are rappers. Not ALL of ANY particular ethnicity are the same. How dare some people (not saying you did, just people in general) judge someone by the way they look. It isn't fair.

That would be a ridiculous response. Shooters in the past have been of all different races. There are people with mental problems everywhere. It has nothing to do with race or nationality.

I hope not .... dirty looks might happen every now and then, but for the most part I hope the focus would be on the victims not the shooter.

No I don't think so. That really shouldn't matter. There have been other shootings in this country on campuses by Americans...so should Americans have a hard time on campuses too?

No, not really. Why would that make a difference, if he were a Muslim terrorist I would say yes.

I don't think it will be any harder than before. Tragic and terrible as this is, it is still an isolated incident.
