NO, I am a city girl, born and raised in the city. The closest I have ever been to a horse was at a petting zoo and at parades and personally I can't stand to watch the animal walk as it is using the restroom. The smell isn't always so pleasant either. As for the other animals such as pigs, chickens, goats, etc., I am not a big fan of most farm animals, the only animals that I like are cats and dogs of which I have only one cat. And as for growing crops, I don't have much of a green thumb either so more than likely my crops would all probably die.

Yes. I understand the land and have the skills necessary to farm... but if I must return to my *roots*... could I be a farmer that has another job as well? It's not something I'd want to hang my dreams on.

For raising animals? No
For fruits and vegetables, yes. I have apple trees, rhubarb and 2 raspberry patches. I also grow my own vegetables. One year, all we had to buy at the store was milk, sour cream, etc. My husband fished and I gardened. We do buy our eggs from a local farmer instead of the grocery store.

Not a chance!I hate getting up early,I'm not too fond of being that up close to animals,I could probably give a million reasons why I would suck at it!!

Not it I raised animals. I would name them all and then not be able to send them to the slaughterhouse.
