I have a friend of 15 years, actually she's just been an aquaintence recently. She's always been a huge liar but I just accepted it after awhile. It started when she ruined my birthday. Unfortunatley I trusted her with $200.00 of mine, which was a huge secret from her boyfriend....who's sick of her lie's, and keeps leaving her. She promised to pay me back on my birthday, and knew if she didn't it was going to cause me a lot of problems. On my birthday she decided to not show up, after causing a bunch of drama, she made other plans. I ended up screaming at her, and she told me I couldn't talk to her like that and hung up on me. I finally had enough though. It's been 2 weeks since then. I've tried calling her at home and work. She's trained everyone to lie and say she's not there. I don't think she has any intention of paying me back. I could try to go hunt her down, maybe go to her job. I could tell her boyfriend everything I know, which will cause her problems. But I want my $$$$!

email her and let her know she has 2 weeks to get your money she borrowd from you*
If she doesn't then I would let her family/parents know...her boyfriend and anyone else who will llisten.....She borrowed that and said she'd pay you back...the more she doesn't talk to you the more she feels you can just forget bout getting any $ back. Stand your ground, and confront her face to face saying you want your money not her friendship as friends don't do that to friends.
Then move on with your life** GoodLUcK*

You know that you are wasting your time, you can try and seek out revenge on your friend but is it worth it,she was never your friend in the first place because friends don't do that to each other.

To put it straight if my friend ever did that to me i would kick her to the curb ,she has just used you to see how much that she could take from you and it sounds like she has done it.

I would count your loss and move on,she has no guilt in what she has done and if you have children well she has taken from your kids (and i am thinking that you may have kids)and anyone that does that is no friend.

Tell her to take a hike, she is not worth losing any sleep over just learn from your mistake "don't lend anyone money as i'm sure if the shoe was on the other foot she would be hunting you down like a dog.

Best of luck.

It's a complete waste of your time. With a "friend" like that who needs enemies. Look at it this way, it cost you 200 dollars to get rid of her, a very small price to pay to rid yourself of her.

take it as a lesson learned never lend out money you can't afford to give away..

i learned that the hard way after lending 1000 to a friend of mine who only paid me back 200..

i don't talk to this friend anymore
