TITANS FANS...First PacMan, now this?!?!
kffl.com is reporting that Vince Young will be on the cover of Madden 2008. They are saying an official announcement will come today. Does this worry you? If so, why?

Well it has been confirmed appearently, as they were talking about it on Cold Pizza. Now my question is WTF is going on with Rookies in the new Madden game. EA must be focusing on them. As to why Young then, simple he was Rookie of the year. Think about it though first the BS with Hester and now a ROOKIE on the cover? I'd be worried if I was a Titans fan though.

First and foremost, if Vince Young is going to be on the cover of Madden after having a MEDIOCRE rookie year (52% completion rate, 13 int, 12 tds) something is screwy. If Young ends up putting up similar numbers to that of his rookie campaign, does that mean he was cursed? No. It means he had mediocre numbers, that's it. He's not a great player. At least not yet. Now, if he gets injured in the 3rd game of the season and is nagged by it throughout the year there may be some validity to this curse. Just ask Donovan McNabb, Michael Vick, Shaun Alexander, Ray Lewis, Eddie George, and Daunte Culpepper.

All of my friends that work at EB games tell me that Chad Johnson is on the cover. So Titans fans shouldnt have to worry about the Curse of Madden, but instead they're treated to the Curse of Pacman, and he is making it rain all over Tennessee

And that is ignoring off the field issues! Daunte Culpepper is STILL a failure, now signed with the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the AFL Michael Vick later went to jail for 2 years because of a dog fighting charge Vince Young was suicidal for a time (I was kinda scared for him at that point) A LOT of people have lost A LOT of respect for Brett Favre because of his antics (you know what I mean) Larry Fitzgerald has lost a lot of respect from Arizona fans now because of his attitude toward his contract It's kinda creepy... To answer your question though, I don't see why he is any different from other members! Vince Young was also a QB, and Ray Lewis has won a superbowl... I'm not one to believe in curses, but it's a possibility!

sorry pats fans to rain on your parade but PAT HATER in da house I actually believe in the curse I Hope the "Golden Boy" Tom Brady is on the cover not any injuries but a horrible season and the Titans will make the playoffs but be beaten in the superbowl by DA BEARS

i don't think he will be on the cover, because he was a rookie. maybe within the next 2 year. And i do believe in the curse because it seems to affect players all the time

I agree with Red Sox and broncosfan1129...I am a Pats fan, and our arch rival is not even in our division anymore...Its the Colts...
I am pretty sure its going to be LT anyway...They have had a history of putting the NFL MVP on the cover...

I would be fine with Vince Young on the cover...as long as its not a New Orleans Saint...then I would get worried.

i don't believe that young will be the cover athelete. i think it'll be a wide. my thoughts have been and still are chad johnson. you never know though. i think espn will unveil the madden cover on wednesday's sports center. check it out and then you will know
