Has "political correctness" and the leftist "war against boys" in our public schools feminized all our young men so much that they don't know how to fight and protect themselves and females anymore?

He did NOT have an automatic weapon; he had two semi-automatic handguns. In a previous campus shooting in upstate NY a few years ago, a shooter was charged and subdued by another student (who was shot, but survived), saving the lives of others.

I takes mere 3 seconds to reload a semi automatic weapon and resume firing the weapon. Not too mention the fact that he had 2 semi automatic weapons so if someone was to interfere I'm pretty sure they would've been mortally stopped by a bullet....Political correctness has NOTHING to do with the reactions of the students at VTech and "the leftist war against boys" only exists in the heads of conspiracy theorists. Imagine the fear those students (male and female) experienced during that rampage. Most people are incapable of responding to violence in the midst of total fear. Some of us are able to jump to action while others are immobilized. In New York there was a man on the subway with his two daughters when another man had a ceizure that made him fall onto the train tracks as a train approached. The father let his daughters hands go and proceeded to jump down on top of the man to press his body down and protect him from the train as it passed over them.... Now there were other people who witnessed this same event an their brains didn't direct them to become heros. I suppose that if men were still raised to think that their duties in this world include being emotionally stifled, boarish, violent, cro magnin primates who protect "helpless" women and shoot criminals that the world would be a better place... NOT....

Well because the only person who had a gun was the shooter.

I'm not the greatest person with a hand gun, (I prefer long guns instead) but even as slow as I am I go from an empty clip to reloaded in less than two seconds. How far away were they from the shooter?

How many people in the class room had knowledge of what kind of gun the shooter was using and how many rounds a clip held? And of those how many were keeping track of how many rounds had been fired?

It could be it's not the political correctness that is the problem but the liberal mindset that says you can do what ever you want to and blame someone else. That refusal to accept responsibility of your actions and lack of accountability for your actions is the problem.

Because without proper training most people will NOT charge a guy with a gun. These kids were doing what they were taught to do – wait on someone else to take care of the problem. Not to sound to harsh but they were probably waiting on an adult.

OMFG, you must have been reading my mind! Oprah's' feminizing of America, and the libdiot demand for the euro-f a g, unisex "male" had neutered, (pun intended), the will to survive. They bring down the military at EVERY turn, and dummy down sports so that there are no losers. They are killing our will to survive, then blame the police and others for these shortcomings. I thought i was the only one who thought like this. Goes to show, great minds think alike. A great man once said, "liberals are worthless", and i have yet to be proven wrong.

Are you actually saying you would watch a guy with preloaded clips then walk straight into the gunfire? Give me a break! I don't think cops or soldiers are trained to do that. And why are you calling our men effeminate, I think they're just fine!!

I don't disagree with your premise about the feminization of boys in our school system. I question the validity of using this tragedy to do it, however.

And it isn't just the schools. Where are the fathers?

I'm guessing you would have done it then. Good for you. I would be ducked under my desk. Call it cowardice, call it being "feminized." I call it self-preservation.

LIBERALISM! Men are more feminine than the women these days. They make me sick.
