Every time i go back in a sentence and try and type something, the letter in front gets deleted and i have to type the whole sentence again... how do you fix this?

You have 'type over' set on your keyboard. You can change this by pressing the key that says 'Insert' on your keyboard. Pressing it again will make it revert to 'type over'

In the system you are using thers is a key named insert. Press it, ur problem will be fixed.

Tap the "Insert" key once. You are in Over type Mode.

press your 'insert' key once (it's found near the home/end/delete etc keys)

You got it on Overide U dumb nut. Find the overide function and turn it off
